About the Role
You will design the interfaces for business software that people use for hours every day. This is a different discipline from marketing design: the measure of success is whether a supervisor can complete a task in four clicks instead of nine, not whether the screen looks impressive in a portfolio.
You will work directly with the people who will use what you design — often on a shop floor or at a reception desk — and iterate based on watching them use it.
What You'll Do
- Design screens for ERP, CRM and business applications
- Build and maintain reusable design systems across projects
- Conduct user research sessions with client teams
- Create clickable prototypes for review before development starts
- Work closely with developers through implementation
- Design mobile interfaces for field and shop-floor use
What We're Looking For
- 1+ years designing web or application interfaces
- Strong Figma skills, including components and auto-layout
- A portfolio showing work on data-dense interfaces, not only marketing pages
- Understanding of accessibility fundamentals and responsive behaviour
- Comfortable presenting and defending design decisions
